Wire lace is such a dream to work with, as it gives you the drape of the lightest thread, but with the glorious sheen of metal. I've mixed a bunch of different colours of metal in this bracelet, and I just love the result. This may be one of my most favourite bracelets yet.

Step 1) Cut three 1 foot lengths of the wire lace.

Step 2) Thread all three lengths into one of the little holes on the Vintaj connector. Tie a triple knot, and cut off the excess wire.

Step 3) Link together 5 jumprings, and then thread those on to all three strands of the wire lace.

Step 4) Working with each strand individually, thread on a mix of firepolish beads, and the 3mm sterling balls. Knot before and after each firepolish crystal to ensure they stay put.

Step 5) Link together another 5 jumprings, and thread them through all three strands.

Step 6) Cut a 2" piece of 18 gauge sterling silver wire. Starting in the middle, wrap it around your round nose pliers to create a loop in the middle, and keep the ends flat.

Step 7) Use a chasing hammer, and a bench block to flatten, and work harden the loop, and each end of wire.

Step 8) Cut about 2" of 24 gauge copper wire, and wrap it tightly around the middle of the clasp. This is mainly for colour contrast. The wire bar will hold on it's own.

Step 9) Thread all three strands though the loop on the wire bar you just made. Make a triple knot and cut off the excess wire.
