You'll be hooked on leather, once you find out how easy these bracelets are to make.

You'll need a length of the 5 mm round leather, approximately twice the length of the bracelet you want to make.

Fold the length of leather in half.

If you are adding a decorative bead (like the red sample below) add it now, by sliding it over the two cut ends, and sliding it down, out of your way, towards the folded middle.

Any of the Regaliz beads will do nicely. It helps to keep the leather folded into a nice loop, although, I have found, that after wearing it for awhile, the leather does tend to stay looped.

Check your cut ends fit into the cup of the Hook and Circle clasp. You may need to trim the ends if they are a little ragged, so that they fit into the cup nicely.

Put a little of the glue into the cup (you can see in the photos that I was a little carried away and used too much glue, which shows up more on this absorbent suede finished leather than the darker, more traditional leathers.).

Push the leather ends together into the cup, and hold for a minute, while the glue sets up.

Bingo - you are done! Ready to rock and roll.

To wear, push the loop up (from the bottom) through the circle, and hook over the hook. Pull back a little to put tension on it, and you are good to go.
