I started making wrapped leather bracelets and got carried away experimenting with making them wider instead of longer. The great thing about making these wrapped bracelets is that there is no end to the colours and types of beads you can use.

In this bracelet, I combined the red earth tones of the Aqua Nueva Agate, symbolizing the rocks and sands of a harsh desert with the rich yellow of the New Burma Jade (serpentine) - symbolizing the sun which can heat up the desert air to more than 50 degrees F., and certainly heats up this design!
